Deleting your account
Last updated: 19.09.2026
You can delete your account yourself, in the app or on the website, at any time. This page says how, what is deleted and what is kept — and why.
How
- In the app: menu → Delete account, then confirm.
- On the website: sign in at svitaxi.rs with the same email address and do the same.
- If you cannot sign in: write to help@svitaxi.rs from the address the account was created with. That is how we know you are asking to delete your own account and not somebody else's.
What is deleted
Immediately, and it cannot be undone:
- your sign-in — the email address, password and Google account no longer open anything; you can create a new account with the same address later
- your name and phone number
- saved places
- notifications and settings
- conversations with support
- your messages to drivers
- ratings drivers gave you, and comments you wrote
- follow-my-ride links you sent
- booked rides that have not started yet — they are cancelled, so that no car is sent for nobody
What is kept, and why
What is kept is what belongs not to you but to the bookkeeping of the taxi service that carried out the ride. It is kept without your name, phone number or email address — none of those records points to you any more.
- completed rides: addresses, time and price — without them a ride cannot be checked, whether in a dispute about the fare or in the books
- the platform usage fee accounts
- the number of stars you gave a driver: it is part of that driver's rating, and is not taken away after the fact
- emergency alerts (SOS): they are the record of a ride's safety
When it cannot happen straight away
While a ride is in progress — a car is on its way to you, or you are in it — the account is not deleted. Finish or cancel the ride, then try again.
Driver and taxi-service staff accounts are not deleted from the app: they are the service's licence and books, and the owner of the service closes them.
Your sign-in is deleted immediately. An app already open on another phone may keep showing what it had loaded for up to an hour, and then asks for a sign-in that no longer exists.
